I don't think ppModeler is much more difficult...
but it has more tools and functionalities.
You can swith to a nendo/wings 3d like mode:
simply press 'H' while the mouse is over a viewport...
then, right mouse button to access the tools/toolboxes.
'H' to return to the 'normal' mode.
the next release will allow to swith from one selection mode (vertices, edges, faces) by shift-right click on one item (vertex, edge, face). |

I just posted a new version of ppModeler:
ppmodeler no flickering
This version remove flickering problems (at least I think so).
It should be quicker also.
Also, there is a rendering raytracer included:
Press F7 and drag a rectangle in a view...
a new simple but usefull feature:
shift-right click on a face, an edge or a vertex to switch to the corresponding toolbox and select it (don't work in the mesh toolbox).
There is a new ribbon toolbox, to create hairs, but still in its infancy.
If some of you have a little bit of time to test it, tell me what you think!!!
OmegaUltraus, no news lately.. is your game going well ?

Updated the alpha release:
ppModeler alpha
Now, ppModeler mixes curves and meshes. In order to create a mesh based on curves (like tube, lath) select the needed curves and activate the creation.
Other improvement: the direction is now part of the parameter, and the manipulators display numerical values.
also, still working on flickering problems.
Add a script to add light on faces of a mesh. work great for creating light domes.
Add the possibility to select multiple lights and change the value of multiple light at a time. At the shadow and the highlight color attributes to lights.
try it and tell me what you think...
