There is two ways: miror and symmetrical mesh.
Both are defined the same way:
Activate the miror tool.
You must select either a predifned plan (like the xy plan), or defined it by three vertices of your mesh. It is better if these three vertices defined the plan of the hole in your mesh of course.
For example, create a sphere.
go to mesh tool toolbox.
activate plane cut.
select the yz plane.
go to face toolbox.
select the big face created by the cut tool.
press delete.
go to the mesh tool toolbox.
activate the miror too.
select the top vertex and the two in the xy plan.
The vertex part of the miror plan are highlighted.
press ok.
Albatross 3d ask for miror of symmetrical, answer symmetrical.
Now, your mesh is made of two part, one you can edit and one that is just
miroring your actions.
Keep in mind the three vertices that define your miror plan, if you move them in the wrong direction, you can mess up your miror. If this happens, find your vertices, and set the coordinate with numerical values.
