New release of Beta for windows
New texture projector: face projector:
This projector creates a texture patch per faces.
The parameters are the texture density and the texture colour.
New 3D painting tool:
When a texture projector is defined (for the 4 types), it possible
to draw on the texture by painting on the mesh.
The parameters are the brush type, the brush opacity and the brush colour.
The brushes are defines by image stored in the "brushes" directory.
This directory can have subdirectory to group brushes by types.
If you come with some useful brushes, don't hesitate to send them to me so that I can include them in the next release.
Latter, will come the ability to pick colour, to pick shaded colour,
to poke and to draw on the alpha, gloss and bump texture.
I'm waitting for your feedbacks on this tool before going further...
New knife tool:
This new tool is in the vertex toolbox.
Drag the mouse over an edge to add a vertex.
Drag the mouse over two or more edges to add vertices and edge between these vertices.
Drag the mouse between two existing vertices or between a vertex and an edge or between an edge and a vertex to create an edge from/to the selected vertex(ices).
Shift drag a vertex to move it in its plan.
ppmodeler_knife.avi (6.2 Mo).
New stick tool:
This new tool is n the vertex toolbox.
Select a mesh or a plan where the created vertices will be placed in the parameter are. There, the user can define the distance to the selected reference and the material of the created faces.
Click on the reference to add and select a new vertex. If 4 vertices are selected, a new face is created automatically, and the 2 last selected vertices are kept selected.
Press Enter when 3 vertices are selected to create a face.
Shift drag a vertex to move it on the reference.
Right click on a vertex to unselect all selected vertices and select only the pointed one. Right click outside a vertex for the popup menu.
Stick Tool (mov, 12.75 Mo)
Fixed some bugs,
like flickering reported in this thread. Also, the sculpting tool is now moving vertices in the miror plan only in the miror plan in order to avoid to break the symmetry.
