Hi,
maybe i mentioned it somewhere but i can't remember correctly. How difficult would it be to include an option (preferences) to let the Y-Axis points upwards instead of the Z-axis?
The different orientation is needed when importing 3d files created with Alb3D. Some of this programs have the option to swap the axis during the import but there also many programs without that option and in these the imported scene will have the wrong orientation.
So i think it would be useful for the user to change the orientation.

the problem is not the axis.
but, I will add an option to select the two axes of the base plane.
the problem is left-right handed.

Hmm,
sometimes i use Cybermotion 3D-Designer for rendering and it also uses a left-handed axis triad like Alb3D. But in CM the Z-axis is pointing into the room and not upwards.
I'm not a mathematician so can you tell me the difference? For me the z-axis gives the "third dimension" so it should point into the room. I'm a typical layman.
