thank you both.
For the moment I'm working on the compositing. It start to look good, it is working, but it is not finished yet. The good point is, once finished, the base will be ready for a node based material editor. The compositing and the rendering in layers offers a lot of possibilities to work on the rendered image very quickly. I will make a video soon to show it at work.
Then, I will a few tools left behind, complete the documentation, and It will be ready for a new release. It will be time to port the new version to linux and MAC.

it is change of name. the pp in the us has apparently a meaning I didn't think of when I named the program, so i decided to change it. But the code itself remains.

Hey look! It's giannis the Kerkythea guru! (right?) I hope you will release Kerkythea 2007 soon.
When can we expect a new Albatross 3D beta? The old ppmodeler beta is months old.
It looks like that you will turn Albatross 3D into a complete 3D suite?

Yes, it is a bit old... but the compositing is a lot of work.
You can have a look at this one:
alabtross 3D Beta
I'm working on the linux port (and mac with X11) for the moment, because the beta there is years old!!!!
Tell me what you think of it (Try the compositing in the rendered window)...
